Physiogel, New International Brand in Town

In my weekending post, I told you guys that I went to the Physiogel launch event. Also, I was giving you live updates right from the event on my Insta stories (follow me on Instagram here) and the amount of questions I got and the interest you guys showed in this event, made me to do a post about this event.

So, I got this invite to attend the launch event and to be honest, before this invite landed in my inbox, I was not aware of this brand and its products. So, before going to the event, I googled it :) and found out that it is quite a famous brand and people swear by its products. It automatically developed my interest and I began to look forward to attend the event.

Event Attendees

I went to the event quite late because of horrific traffic jam, but still got a lot of information about the brand and its products. The launch ceremony took place at Alliance Francaise (I like this place for some reason) and was attended by celebrities like Ayesha Khan, Zhalay Sarhadi, Zoe Viccaji, Rachel Viccaji, Sonya Hussain, Hira Hussain and many others. Besides celebrities, skin experts from our local industry such as Saeeda Mandviwalla and Dr. Seema Hirji along with Dr. Rene Rust. who is Senior Director Expert Science of GSK Consumer’s Global Skin Health Category also graced the event.

What is different about Physiogel?

During the event, all of these experts took their turn and told us about the brand and its products. I got to know that Physiogel offers a skincare line for people with sensitive skin. It is internationally a renowned brand and is now available in Pakistan. One of the most unique features that I got to know about the products of this brand is that they are fragrance free products and treat dry and sensitive skin.

Physiogel Products

Physiogel has three major categories and their sub categories, which are as follows:

1. Daily Moisture Therapy
  • Body Lotion
  • Dermo Cleanser
  • Cream

2. Calming Relief
  • A.I. Cream
  • Body Lotion
  • Lipid Balm

3. Daily Defence Protective Day Cream
  • Day Cream
  • Night Cream
  • Cleansing Milk

Skin Bar Experience

Once all of these guest speakers done with their speeches, bloggers and other attendees were asked to head over to the skin bar, where we got free hand massage using Physiogel products. I found its texture very light and after a few minutes massage, I could see the difference (not like color wise but in its condition). My hands before the massage were quite dry and dull and after this massage it felt like someone breath a new life in them.

After this massage session, we had tea and snacks and enjoyed live singing of Rachel Viccaji. She sang amazing songs and it was so soothing listening to her in open air.

My Review

Overall, it was a great event with fun, entertainment and of course a goodie basket. My basket mostly had daily defence products and a calming relief lotion. Nowadays, I am using daily defence day cream and I found it to be a good moisturizer. It does feel a little greasy, but all the greasiness vanishes after some time. I haven't used calming relief lotion, but whenever I would, I am going to tell you guys about it.

So, that's about it. You can follow Physiogel Pakistan on their Facebook page here. I hope you guys now know whatever you wanted to know about the event, brand and products.
