Tasty Thursday: Chia Pudding

When you are at home, the menu of breakfast doesn't matter. But, when you have to go to work or university or college, then you have to consider a lot of things. You would want to have something that can be cooked quickly, that is filling and of course that can be consumed quickly. And, if you care about your health and fitness, you would also want something nutritious.

I follow a lot of international bloggers and i often see them having chia pudding for breakfast. Just like avocado toast (did a post on this. It's here), I also want to try chia pudding. Not only because everyone else was having it but also because it is super easy to make, a filling option as well as easy to consume.

I tried chia pudding and I really liked it. So, thought to share its recipe with you guys.

Ingredients

To make chia pudding, you will need very few but very expensive following items:

  • Chia Seeds (I bought chia seeds packet from Naheed Supermarket and it was of around 1100 PKR).
  • Almond milk (got this from Agha's also was of 1100). You can also use normal milk like Olpers or anything.
  • Blueberries or any kind of berries.

Method

  • Take a bowl (I took a glass), add three table spoons of chia seeds.
  • Now fill your cup, glass or bowl with milk.
  • Stir properly and keep it in the refrigerator overnight.
  • When you take out to consume it next morning, just add blue berries or any kind of berries or even any kind of fruits in it.

I really like it with fruits, but without fruits, it's not that good. So, always have it after adding fruits in it. I also really like it because it saves a lot of my time.

As you know I really like to prepare everything a night before so that  have little to do in the morning, when I get up and get ready to go to work (did a post on time saving tips in the morning, it's here). So, it's a perfect and quick thing to make a night before and have it for breakfast.
