My Bridal Accessories

I promised you guys that I would share my bridal accessories in a separate post, so here I am with all the deets about some of the hero pieces from my bridal look.

Let me start with my most favorite accessory that is my bridal clutch. I absolutely love it! Usually, bridal clutches are extremely glitzy and have a lot of glam quotient in it that you can’t imagine carrying it with you in any other functions than a wedding. But thankfully, my clutch is something I can easily carry in semi-formal and formal events as well as to weddings. Its look is formal yet at the same time does not exude too much glitz and glitter.

Its base is made up of velvet and has some cool and minimalist floral embellishments are done over it with a combination of sequins and thread work. It came from groom’s side and they told me that they got this from dolmen mall.

Another accessory that I like the most is my shoes. These are super glamorous and stylish. On one hand, its sequins work in shiny gold color gives it a glam; on the other hand, the pump style adds an edgy look to it. I bought it from Dolmen Mall, Tariq Road in 2400 rupees.

Now let’s come to the jewelry. For reception, I opted for a simple piece. I really don’t think that it has something unique or different about it. But, I love its choker style and it was complementing my dress quite well. I got this set from Tariq Center at Tariq Road. I don’t exactly remember how much I paid for it, but roughly it was of 4k.

For my wedding day, I wore both artificial as well as gold jewelry pieces. The layered necklace was perfectly royal and going well with my look. My sister-in-law got it customized from a jewelry shop.

With this post I am wrapping up my wedding series. But yes, I will continue to share other tips regarding wedding preparation and experience of living in a joint family and other stuff.
